1. You assume God isn't answering you...maybe He has, and you weren't listening!

Job 33:12-19
"For God does speak again and again, though people do not recognize it."

2. You assume God is going against his own sense of justice--when really, you're putting your own sense of justice onto Him.

Job 34:33-37
"Must God tailor his justice to your demands?"

3. You assume you are without sin...but by doing so, you are committing the sin of pride.

Job 35:2-13
"Do you think it is right for you to claim, 'I am righteous before God'? For you also ask 'What's in it for me?' What's the use of living a righteous life?"

4. You assume that because He hasn't answered so far, He isn't going to--when really, you're just not being patient.

Job 35:14-16
"...but he will bring justice if you will only wait."

5. You assume suffering is a punishment--but what if it's a warning?

Job 36:13-21
"..but by means of their suffering, he rescues those who suffer.  For he gets their attention through adversity. God is leading you away from danger, Job..."

6. You assume you should understand everything about God--but who ever could?
