The Freedom Foundation

The Freedom Foundation

The Freedom Foundation in our post-covid church, is for anyone who loves FV and calls it home. It’s for anyone who has found family here, found hope here, found JESUS here! It is giving directly into the house of the Lord, paying down our mortgages on the building and grounds of the FVChurch property that God has blessed us with. It is a way to give back into the place that has changed so many lives over the years.

The Freedom Foundation is helping FV to move forward into financial freedom, so we can use our building and grounds to do the MOST for Jesus!

Our goal for the 2023 cycle is to raise $100,000 total.
Can you help us reach that goal by faith?

How you can help:

  1. Pray. Prayerfully consider the part you will play in the FV Foundation.

  2. Commit. Join the FV Foundation by filling out the Faith Promise form.  YOU can be part of the impact FV has on our community.

  3. Plan. Plan for generosity.  Every significant sacrifice requires a plan.  Never underestimate the power of budgeting for your generosity!

Our prayer theme for 2023 is to give us a passion for the House of God, that we would truly be vibrant, passionate, and selfless in every way. Matthew 6:19-21, “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.”

What’s the Difference Between Tithes and Offerings?

Like llamas and alpacas, tithes and offerings are often grouped together, but they’re definitely not the same thing. A tithe is a specific amount (10% of your income) that you give first, and an offering is anything extra that you give beyond that.

After you’ve tithed and paid all your bills and necessary expenses for the month, you can then use any extra money in your budget to give even more! This can include giving a cash offering to your church above and beyond your normal tithe, giving money to a charity you support, giving to a friend in need, or giving your time and skills by volunteering.

We believe in living with an attitude of being blessed, to bless others in return. So if you’re looking for another place to give…we’ve got a few options.
