Our Story

Freedom Valley was planted in May of 1992 when Pastor Gerry and Julie Stoltzfoos (Pastor Candace's parents) moved their young family from Lancaster county, out to New Oxford, and planted a church in Gettysburg. They led FV and grew it, for 26 years, built the property that we now call home in 2000.

Freedom Valley has always been known for it's Biblical and applicable preaching, passionate worship, down-to-earth style, and warm atmosphere. We've always put high importance on kids and youth ministry, and 

Today, we still believe strongly in kids & youth ministry, and doing missions work all over the world! We still preach the Bible with passion and worship with abandon! We believe God is still on the move today, and regularly see Him do miracles in our church.

We are always looking for faithful & passionate people to serve alongside us.  We believe that we are a Kingdom of Priests, and God has called each and every one of us to spread the Gospel and be a witness to the amazing things God has done in our lives. We are called to be salt & light, following the Holy Spirit into the unknown, with adventure and purpose.
