GriefShare Group Winter/Spring 2025

 Welcome to FVChurch’s GriefShare program!

We’d love to have you join us on Monday nights! For Winter 2025, we will run Monday nights, starting Febraury 24, at 6:30pm. 13 sessions.

Lori Doudrick is your FV GriefShare leader! She’s been a member of FVChurch for 3 years, enjoys playing with her grandchildren, traveling, and playing board games with family. She has gone through the GriefShare program herself, through the process of losing her father and husband in recent years, and feels led by the Lord to help others through their grieving process as well.

Spring Clothing Swap - a FVKids Clothing Closet event!

This event is for anyone in the community! Bring your old clothes (adult or kids), and pick out new ones! All clothing will be free, no selling. At the end of the event, you can either take your clothes with you, or put them in the donation pile. Whatever we can use for the FVKids Clothing Closet we will happily use, and we’ll give the rest to the Adams Rescue Mission!

Participants:
ANYONE is welcome to come and hunt for clothes!
Adult AND kids clothes and shoes are welcome!

How will it work?
We’ll have signs around our auditorium with labels for MEN’S, WOMEN’S, BOYS, GIRLS clothing, and you can roughly sort your items on the chairs as you come in. Then, grab a bag or box, and start filling up with things that your family needs! Anything left on the chairs at 11:30 will be bagged up and donated either to our Kids Clothing Closet, or to the Adams Rescue Mission.

What should I bring?
You can bring clothing and shoes of any size to donate (but no NEED to), and bring bags or boxes to take clothing with you!

We will also need blanket washers at the end of the week (to be done at a laundry mat).

If you’d like info on being an overnight volunteer for the season, we email the program director (Debi Little, director@gettysburgcares.org) and let her know.

Dates: April 7-14
Needed: 14-21 Kitchen Volunteers // 2-3 Blanket washers // Breakfast food // devotion leaders
