John 10:10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

3 Roles of the Game Plan:
1. Prepare Yourself

1 Samuel 17:39-40...“I cannot go in these,” he said to Saul, “because I am not used to them.” So he took them off. Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

2. Encourage Yourself!

Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

1 Samuel 30:6 Further, David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, for all of them were embittered, each man for his sons and daughters. But David felt strengthened and encouraged in the LORD his God.

John 16:33- “...In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

3. Plant Yourself.

1 Peter 5:8 - Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Proverbs 27:17 - As Iron Sharpens Iron, so one man sharpens another!
