About Crisis Care

FV CRISIS CARE is a new initiative…

to serve our community and love them well. We believe we are called to be a vibrant, passionate, selfless church, who changes the world with the message of Gospel, and that compels us to practice selflessness!

We’ve all been in a crisis at one point or another, a time when “I’m praying for you”, and “God has a plan,” rings hollow and meaningless, next to the crushing weight of a crisis. The crisis can range from a sickness in the family to an injury, an eviction or abuse, neglect, the list goes on! When we find ourselves in those situations, it can be so hard to trust that God has a plan.

We know we can’t give in every situation…but maybe we can make a difference for one. Inspire hope for a future again. It’s an amazing thing when God’s people come through and meet each other’s needs. We are a family!

When someone in our church is down-and-out, has a brand new baby, in recovery from surgery, or just in need, we arrange for meals to be made and delivered to the family! You coordinate the schedule, we’ll get you all the info!

Everybody loves getting mail, and when you’re far from home at college, or stuck in a nursing home, rehab center, or just plan stuck, a nice card of encouragement, a bouquet of flowers, or a simple gift can go a long way.

The hospital can be a scary and uncertain place, and a friendly face and a prayer can make all the difference. You can indicate your town’s hospital, and your availability, and we’ll send you requests for visits as they arise!

This team is specifically for those that feel called to give above and beyond their tithes to the church, by helping someone in need of something specific. It might be rent, food, gas, or a specific bill or need. We also send out occasional church needs, like equipment failures, or unique discipleship opportunities.
