The Big Questions:

  1. What did Jesus do for his disciples? Jesus showed us and the disciples an example of how we should treat others.  By washing their feet he showed them that doing nice things for others and acting like a servant for Jesus, that is what He wants you to do.

  2. Why was it unusual for a host to wash his guests’ feet? A host would never, ever wash the feet of his guests because he’d only make himself dirty in the process.

  3. How does Paul say we should live? Read Philippians 2:5-8, we should live with the same attitude that Jesus had.

  4. How does Paul describe the way Jesus lived? He was humble and showed us to be like a servant - helping others and not putting ourselves above those around us.

  5. How can you be a servant to others?
