We’ve added another week of helping out with GETTYSBURG C.A.R.E.S.—the cold weather shelter that Gettysburg Area Churches work together on! St. James Lutheran Church hosts, but each church helps out by covering a week or two, to serve breakfast as kitchen volunteers in the morning, and leading devotions in the evenings with the residents! We will also need blanket washers at the end of the week (to be done at a laundry mat).
If you’d like info on being an overnight volunteer for the season, we email the program director (Debi Little, director@gettysburgcares.org) and let her know.
