This year, FV will be participating in GETTYSBURG C.A.R.E.S.—the cold weather shelter that Gettysburg Area Churches work together on! St. James Lutheran Church hosts, but each church will pick a two week block (or two) and to serve breakfast as kitchen volunteers in the morning! We will also need blanket washers at the end of the 2 weeks (to be done at a laundry mat).

Volunteer Responsibilities
Kitchen Volunteers:
6am-8am. In the Youth House just down from the St. James Church. We will need 2 to 3 volunteers each morning (except Sundays) to prepare, serve, and clean up breakfast for the guests.

Blanket Washers:
This is a one-day only job (9am Monday, December 11), meeting at a Gettysburg laundry mat and washing all the blankets! You are not responsible for providing the finances.
