Eric Sterner grew up at FVYouth, spending his time with people who surprised him with their kindness and generosity. He hadn’t experienced human kindness outside of the people of his own household, before coming to Freedom Valley Church, and so when he graduated the youth group, he continued on as a volunteer, and developed a passion for students finding Jesus and their place within His church.

Eric passed away 2 days before he got to travel with a missions team to the Los Angeles Dream Center. For months prior, he worked tirelessly to send all the youth students he could on that trip. Today, we honor his memory by sending as many kids to camps and retreats and missions trips as possible. This fund is used for that purpose.
