TWO
Challenge
Tell an unbeliever WHY you believe in Jesus.
Why?
Disciplemakers are eager to talk about their faith and see new people come to know Jesus.
Options
-Make sure you do this in love, not in judgement or pride.
-It may not be the person you first expect it to be…in fact, if you’ve tried before with someone, maybe try someone else this time.
1 Peter 3:15
”Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.”
THREE
Challenge
Sit with someone in grief or who is struggling.
Why?
Disciplemakers share in others’ struggles.
Options
-Try to be more in tune with others’ emotions, and notice when people are struggling with something difficult.
-When you notice, just be there for them. Love them genuinely. Try to do more listening, than talking. Pray with them, if you can.
Romans 12:15
”Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.”
FOUR
Challenge
Study Matthew 9:9-13.
Why?
Disciplemakers study their teacher’s example and apply it in their own lives.
Options
-What do you think Jesus meant in vs. 12-13?
-How can you follow Jesus’ example?
-If you had to teach someone this passage, how would you do it?
